Here is my first attempt at a brief introduction:

My sisters and I spend a lot of time throwing ideas off of one another, a means to the end. It seemed that gathering our ideas into one place was a good idea.
*
My sister Tracy had an idea of creating a blog called Sisters in Zion, seemed to be a good fit. The past few years most of those idea shares have been related to the Young Women program - with 4 of us serving the young women in our church.

For a number of years our idea share was around weddings. Floral design, decor, and food. I cannot tell you how much I miss working with fresh flowers! The day I learned I was moving to California, we were literally in the middle of doing flowers for a wedding. That call from my husband will not be forgotten. I have forgiven him, just in case you were wondering. It was a blessing in disguise. A time and a season, that's all I can say. :)

Our parents are to blame for our inspiration. Both amazing people! Our mom always found ways to teach us through creative means - like writing a quirky song or poem to help us study for a test. She is so clever, talented and a wonderful example. Our dad, let's just say that all those people on The Shark Tank have nothing on our him! He is a true inventor, dreamer and inspiration.

I am a true believer of keeping things simple, but definitely making the most of the talents and resources around me. That is why I rely on my family!
